Brief Description Collections Representative performs a wide variety of credit and collection functions including processing and verifying applications for credit and solicits payment on overdue accounts. Compiles necessary information from financial institutions such as banks and credit organizations. Responsibilities also include keeping records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks. Sends follow-up letters. Accepts payment on certain accounts.Job Description: • Drive collection calls and/or correspondence efforts in a fast-paced goal-oriented collections department. • Provide strategic customer service regarding collection issues, processing customer refunds, and review/process account adjustments. • Act as the first point of contact for all customer invoice matters. • Communicate and drive resolution tactics between the sales and customer care teams to provide high quality customer satisfaction. • Develop strong relationships with clients to strategically resolve any type of inquiry or discrepancy with detailed statements, bills, product orders, etc. • Proficient in planning and organizing time to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently. • Contribute to the collections team to drive for timely and quality results. • Assist with ad-hoc, special projects as required. • It is essential to demonstrate increased proactivity when managing receivable accounts. This includes consistently monitoring accounts that are approaching their due dates. By identifying any outstanding actions early, steps can be taken to resolve issues before they become overdue. This approach helps maintain smooth financial operations and prevents potential disruptions caused by late payments. • A strong understanding of managing retail and ecommerce accounts is necessary. Should be able to handle the ticketing system of customer accounts in terms of raising the tickets, reviewing responses, and seeking additional information. Experience and Skill Required: • Graduation in Accounting/Finance • Minimum of 3-5years of experience in a similar role • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills LOCATION: Zurn India Hyderabad Office.
