We are among the world's leading vertically integrated diamond and jewelry companies known for integrity, innovation and trust.Job Title: Data Mart ArchitectEducation: Experience: 7 - 10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.Location: Seepz, Andheri East, MumbaiWorking Days: Mon-Sat/ 17 Saturdays off annuallyAbout the Role: Client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Mart Architect to design and build a data mart from scratch that will power business intelligence, reporting, and analytics across the organization. This role involves integrating data from Infor LN ERP and legacy systems, creating scalable ETL pipelines and data models, and enabling seamless consumption through BI tools.Key Requirements:1. Data Mart Design & Development:Design and implement a scalable data mart architecture using open-source databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).Define data models (star/snowflake schema) aligned with business reporting needs.Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the data mart.2. ETL & Data Integration:Build and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting data from:Infor LN ERPLegacy systemsExternal data sources (if applicable)Create robust data staging layers for transformation and cleansing.Automate data workflows and ensure data freshness.3. Data Quality & Governance:Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.Ensure data consistency across systems.Maintain proper documentation and data lineage.4. BI & Analytics Enablement:Structure data for easy consumption by BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements.Optimize queries and datasets for faster dashboard performance.5. Performance Optimization:Tune database performance (indexes, partitioning, query optimization).Monitor ETL jobs and resolve bottlenecksResponsibilities:7–10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.Proven experience in building data marts or data warehouses from scratch.Technical SkillsStrong expertise in ETL processes and data staging concepts.Hands-on experience with:SQL (advanced level)Open-source databases (PostgreSQL preferred)Experience integrating ERP systems like Infor LN (or similar ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle).Familiarity with ETL tools (Talend, Pentaho, Airflow, or custom pipelines).Understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake).BI & AnalyticsExperience working with BI tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Looker.Ability to translate business requirements into data models.Nice to HaveExperience in manufacturing or jewellery industry data systems.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).Knowledge of Python for data processing.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT, business, operations).Good communication and documentation skills.What Success Looks Like:A fully functional, scalable data mart built on an open-source stack.Reliable ETL pipelines with minimal failures.BI dashboards running on clean, structured, and trusted data.Faster decision-making enabled through accurate reporting.About Hireginie: Hireginie is a prominent talent search company specializing in connecting top talent with leading organizations.
