The candidate will alsoBe responsible for ensuring adherence to data governance standards and best practices whileCollaborating closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver robust BISolutions.Key Responsibilities: Data Modelling Contributing to the design and implementation of data models, ensuring they are optimized for reporting and analysis.Report and Dashboard Development Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.Data Warehousing and Database Management Architect and maintain data warehouses and data marts to support reporting and analytical needs.Implement and enforce data modelling best practices to ensure scalability and performance.Technical Assistance Supporting the implementation of BI tools and systems, including data integration, ETL process and database management.Documentation and Training Assisting in creating user documentation and training materials for BI tools and solutions.Learning and Development Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and best practices.Required Skills and Qualifications 2-7 years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or a related field.Strong expertise in Python for data processing and automation.Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, and Redshift.Proven experience in data warehousing design, implementation, and management.Strong SQL skills.Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.Good conceptual understanding of data science methodologies.Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.Experience with machine learning is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics.Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, EMR, or Athena.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.Knowledge of Agile development practices.Exposure to airline /air freight/ supply chain domain.
