About the CompanyWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Executive to join the Madverse team. As our platform continues to grow within the music, artist, and culture space, keeping our financial operations seamless and accurate is critical.About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and generating key MIS reports to support business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Tally, excels at working with numbers, and brings a high level of ownership to financial tracking and reporting.ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, voucher entries, and ledger maintenance using Tally.Prepare, analyze, and present accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports on a regular basis for leadership.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the timely processing of invoices, artist payouts, and vendor payments.Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records. Qualifications1 – 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role. Required SkillsHigh proficiency in Tally (Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime) is mandatory.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for managing MIS and data analysis.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling financial data.Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict financial deadlines. Preferred SkillsBonus: Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup, SaaS, or within the media/music industry.
