Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center will also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.Job Posting Title:Senior Manager – Data Engineering.Job Description Summary:Lead and manage agile teams of Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Architect, Data Engineering Manager, etc. to build, deliver, and support strategic initiatives at scale. Responsible for engineering of Inspires enterprise data platforms, enabling value-driven business use cases and deep analytics.RESPONSIBILITIES:Attract, mentor, guide, coach team members or direct reports.Manage multiple development teams leading technical execution and delivery of new initiatives.Ensure technical solutions are in line with company standards with respect to architecture, security, compliance, testing and product direction.Implement industry best practices and tools to continually improve teams' ability to deliver and maintain solutions.EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work required.Graduate degree in computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work preferred.EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:15+ years' experience building and supporting large scale and highly available technology solutions and directly managing or leading a team(s) of data engineers and developers.Experience in retail, restaurant, and/or eCommerce industry preferred.Working within an Agile development environment preferred.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:Able to manage development team to deliverables: on time, scope and on budget.Experience working with distributed teams.Experience working with onshore and offshore team as well as with external vendor teams.Able to present complex technical concepts to business partners and senior management.Possess sound knowledge in implementation of Gen AI/Agentic based solutions using technologies such as Azure Foundry, MCP Servers, GitHub Copilot, LLMs including OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.Experience leading teams with deep technical experience with enterprise development (e.g., Python, SQL) and technology platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Azure).Experience with establishing SDLC and Data Engineering best practices.Experience with leading fine tuning, scaling, monitoring and alerting initiatives.Deep understanding of creating and integrating REST-based web services.Proficiency with source control and release technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps) and practices (e.g., CI/CD and automation).Good soft skills with ability to work with business partners to understand the requirements, demonstrate solutions to business partners, gain commitment from business partners on their engagement/deliverables.Cross-Functional internal team exposure – has worked previously with Product, Design, QA and Delivery leads.Can help onboard and provide support to developers as they learn in their careers.Experience leading Agile/Scrum development teams.Additional Job Description:Inspire Brands is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes nearly 32,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, Rusty Taco and SONIC Drive-In restaurants worldwide.We’re made up of some of the world’s most iconic restaurant brands, but we’re much more than just a restaurant company.
