As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.The RoleThe Media Release Assistant is responsible for uploading, reviewing, and releasing all the Media elements of JoVE Education videos on our website through Content Management System (CMS) and ensuring that they are completed on time with zero errors.Responsibilities:-Content Upload & Management: Upload, format, and organize media assets (videos, images, metadata) within the CMS.Quality Assurance: Ensure all uploaded content meets JoVE’s formatting, tagging, and metadata standards before publication.Collaboration: Work closely with the Journal team, content creators, video editors, and the localization team to maintain consistency across releases.Content Scheduling: Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely publishing of media assets according to content calendars.Technical Support: Identify and resolve CMS-related technical issues, working with IT and software teams when necessary.Metadata & Tagging: Ensure proper tagging and categorization of media assets for improved content discovery.Process Documentation: Maintain and update guidelines for content uploads and publishing workflows.Requirements:-A Bachelor degree1-2 years of experience in content management, media production, or a similar role.Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and media asset management platforms.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic knowledge of video formats, metadata standards, and publishing workflows.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently on multiple projects.Why Join JoVE?A competitive compensation package.You will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and in improving student learning in science education.Opportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.Our strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
