This role serves as the technical authority across ServiceNow modules, driving scalable, secure, and well-governed platform solutions aligned to business priorities.The role will provide leadership across platform architecture, integrations, automation, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and emerging ServiceNow AI capabilities, while mentoring developers and administrators and supporting long-term platform capability uplift.Primary Responsibilities: / Experience & Qualifications / Mandatory Requirements:Own the technical architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance across modules such as ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, and Risk.Act as the technical authority and escalation point for architectural decisions, complex development issues, and solution approvals.Design and govern enterprise-grade solutions including custom applications, workflows, automations, and integrations aligned with platform standards and long-term maintainability.Define and enforce platform engineering standards covering development practices, data models, integration patterns, CMDB design, and release governance.Own CMDB architecture and data integrity, including Discovery and Service Mapping strategy.Architect and oversee Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capabilities.Lead adoption of ServiceNow AI capabilities (including Now Assist) and automation innovations in a controlled, value-driven manner.Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions balancing speed and architectural integrity.Define and evolve the ServiceNow platform roadmap, managing technical debt, capability uplift, and risk reduction.Ensure adherence to governance, security, compliance, and audit requirements.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and administrators.7+ years of progressive experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including platform architecture and technical leadership responsibilities.Proven experience architecting end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, and Knowledge.Strong expertise in CMDB architecture, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and configuration data governance.Experience architecting Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions.Advanced development expertise in:JavaScript.Script Includes.Business Rules.Flow Designer.UI Policies / UI Actions.Performance optimization patterns.Extensive experience designing integrations using:Certifications:REST / SOAP APIs.MID Server architecture.Authentication models.Error-handling patterns.Experience evaluating and implementing ServiceNow AI / Now Assist capabilities.Ability to advise senior stakeholders and present architectural options, trade-offs, and recommendations.Mandatory:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).Highly Desirable Key Technical Skills:Leadership & Stakeholder Skills:ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).ServiceNow ITSM / ITOM Certifications.ServiceNow Architect-level certifications.Deep expertise across ServiceNow, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SecOps and cross-module architecture dependencies.Strong understanding of ITIL and service management principles.Platform engineering standards, release governance, and integration patterns.Agile and DevOps delivery model experience.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and risk assessment capabilities.Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance practices within enterprise platforms.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across operational and leadership teams.Ability to provide architectural leadership and mentor technical teams.Experience reducing key-person dependency and uplifting internal platform capability.Strong communication and business partnering skills.
