About Company:A listed organisation in the manufacturing of world-class high- power electronics, powerconversion, electrical s electromechanical solutions.Responsibilities: To lead and manage the overall finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning. The role will partner with business leaders to drive profitability, cost control, and strategic decision-making across manufacturing operations. 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting • Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) • Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and Companies Act requirements • Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations • Prepare and present MIS reports for management review2. Costing & Profitability Analysis • Monitor product costing, BOM analysis, and variance tracking • Analyze manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, and overheads • Drive cost optimization initiatives across plants and operations • Support pricing decisions with profitability analysis 3. Budgeting & Financial Planning • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes • Develop financial models and projections for business planning • Perform variance analysis and highlight key deviations • Support strategic initiatives such as expansion, new product lines, and capex 4. Taxation & Compliance • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements • Oversee timely filing of returns and payments • Handle tax assessments, audits, and notices • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and implement necessary changes 5. Internal Controls & Audit • Establish and strengthen internal financial controls • Coordinate with internal and external auditors • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of recommendations • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails6. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management • Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely disbursements • Monitor receivables and drive collection efficiency • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly • Collaborate with sales and procurement teams for smooth operations 7. Process Improvement & Automation • Drive automation of finance and accounting processes • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time • Leverage ERP capabilities for better reporting and controls 8. Stakeholder Management • Partner with CFO and senior leadership on financial strategy • Work closely with plant heads, operations, procurement, and sales teams • Provide financial insights for decision-making • Present reports and analysis to management Experience: • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute with 12–18 years of experience in core finance, accounting, and financial management • Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role managing end-to-end finance operations • Prior experience in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, or Manufacturing industry is highly preferred • Strong exposure to financial reporting, costing, budgeting, and statutory compliance • Experience in handling multi location/plant accounting and high transaction volumes
