Some of our well-known customers include TATA Steel, Persistent Systems, Toshiba, Inox, Pitney Bowes, Wockhardt, PCBL (RP –Sanjiv Goenka Group) and Greenply Industries to name a few.About the RoleWe are seeking a diligent and proactive Legal Intern to support our Company Secretary & Legal Department. This role offers an immersive experience into the legal operations of a fast-growing fintech environment. You will assist the team in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, conducting high-level legal research, and ensuring regulatory compliance across various business functions.ResponsibilitiesContract Drafting & Review: Assist in drafting, vetting, and redlining a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Change Requests, and subcontractor/vendor agreements.Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research on evolving regulations and provide support in advising business and delivery teams on deal structuring and commercial risk assessment.Documentation & Compliance: Help maintain efficient contract lifecycle management by preparing contract summaries, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, compliance matrices, and renewal trackers.Regulatory Advisory: Stay abreast of relevant laws, particularly in data privacy, Intellectual Property (IP), and IT-specific regulations, to assist in advising internal stakeholders.Administrative Support: Assist the CS & Legal team with corporate secretarial filings and documentation as required.QualificationsCurrently in the 5th year of a 5-year integrated law program, OR in the final year of a 3-year LL.B. program (Recent graduates are also eligible to apply).Required SkillsExcellent legal drafting, communication, and analytical skills.Strong academic background with a keen interest in corporate and commercial law.Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred SkillsCandidates with prior corporate exposure or previous internships with law firms/in-house legal teams will be given preference.Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.Effective communication skills.
