Job Summary The candidate will be at a senior leadership role at DWAO, responsible for leading media planning and strategic solutions for key clients. This role blends sales ownership, client acquisition, and account growth with deep expertise in media planning, strategy, and digital ecosystem execution . The individual will work closely with founders, leadership, and cross-functional teams to win new business, grow existing accounts, and deliver high-impact, insight-led media strategies that balance branding and performance outcomes . Key Responsibilities Media Planning & Strategy Lead end-to-end media planning and strategic direction for key accounts, ensuring alignment with client business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them design and optimize media investments across platforms. Develop integrated media strategies across channels including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Programmatic (DV360), OTT, Affiliates, and emerging platforms. Define campaign architecture, audience targeting, budget allocation, reach & frequency, and performance projections. Balance branding and performance-led approaches to deliver full-funnel media solutions. Pitching, Partnerships & Execution Support Create high-impact pitch decks, strategic frameworks, and client-ready presentations as per briefs. Drive negotiations with publishers, platforms, and media partners to secure the best possible rates, inventory, and value-added opportunities. Identify new media opportunities, innovative formats, and partnerships to enhance campaign effectiveness and differentiation. Work closely with internal media, strategy, and execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of approved strategies. Support post-campaign reviews with strong strategic insights and business recommendations. Leadership & Team Development Mentor and guide media and strategy team members, raising overall quality of thinking and execution. Set best practices for media planning, strategic rigor, and client communication. Stay updated with industry trends, platform changes, and evolving digital media practices. Key Skills & Expertise Deep expertise across the digital media ecosystem, including: Programmatic (DV360) Google Ads Meta Ads OTT Platforms Affiliate Marketing YouTube, LinkedIn Ads, and other branding & performance platforms Strong understanding of media planning fundamentals: Audience segmentation & targeting Reach & frequency modeling Budget optimization Attribution and performance measurement Proven ability to sell strategic media solutions and close high-value accounts. Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. Strong negotiation and commercial acumen. Preferred Candidate Profile 12+ years of experience across media planning, digital strategy, and client-facing sales or growth roles. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing large or complex media-led accounts. Experience in agencies or large media organizations is highly preferred. Strong leadership mindset with hands-on strategic and executional capability. Ability to operate at both strategic (CXO-level conversations) and tactical (solution design) levels.
