From support of Ronald McDonald House Charities to our Youth Opportunity project and sustainability initiatives, our values keep us dedicated to using our scale for good: good for our customers, people, industry and planet.Position Summary:Manager, Indirect Strategic Sourcing – Advertising & Marketing (A&M) ProcurementThe Marketing Sourcing team works to maximize McDonald’s marketing investment via best-in-class marketing sourcing practices across Creative, Media, Merchandising, PR/Communications, Events/Activations, CRM/Digital, Sponsorships/Alliances, and Production sub-categories. Category leads within this group are expected to partner with the Global Marketing corporate-level business function, Regional Marketing, US Marketing, and other stakeholders from across our international markets. The Marketing Sourcing Manager will work closely with other team members and stakeholders at McDonald’s HQ and in markets throughout the world.Key Responsibilities:Lead, champion, and evolve Marketing Sourcing best practices including but not limited to agency selection & contracting, scoping, ongoing Agency Relationship Management, 3rd party audits, efficiency and innovations, and other practices designed to maximize our Marketing investments.Own agency performance management across the global roster, including scorecards, governance routines, and improvement plans.Run RFI/RFP/RFQ processes: assess proposals, complete total-value analyses, and lead negotiations.Partner with Legal to structure and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and project-based agreements.Build and execute multi-year category strategies across media, creative, digital, production, PR, and research, with clear alignment from key stakeholders.Stay current on industry trends and category developments, identifying innovation opportunities and competitive insights; actively participate in relevant local and global industry networks.Advance supplier diversity, sustainability, and responsible marketing procurement practices.Use e-sourcing and contract lifecycle tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua) and ensure procurement data is accurate and up to date.Qualifications:8 to 12 years of experience in Indirect Strategic Sourcing with 5+ years focused on marketing strategic sourcing and/or marketing function (media, creative, digital, production, marketing operations, resource management).Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing or commensurate experience in related functions. Marketing strategic sourcing and/or marketing background preferred.Experience with global brands and multi-market sourcing, including roster governance.Bachelor’s Degree (BE or equivalent) required.Preferred Skills & Abilities:Strong grasp of agency economics, including rate cards, staffing models, retainers vs. project work, production cost drivers, and performance measurement.Working knowledge of sourcing fundamentals: supplier selection, negotiations, evaluation, governance, and development. Experience with marketing strategic sourcing (agency scoping, selection, contracting, and management) is a plus.High level of analytical skill; able to distill complex data into clear, accurate insights and practical business recommendations.
