The role requires deep grassroots understanding, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to align CSR initiatives with business and sustainability goals.Key Responsibilities1. Community Engagement & UpliftmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with local communities, panchayats, government bodies, and key stakeholders.Assess community needs and design programs to improve education, healthcare, livelihoods, and skill development.Ensure inclusive development with measurable social impact.2. Strategic CSR PlanningDevelop and implement a comprehensive CSR strategy aligned with organizational goals and regional socio-economic priorities.Identify high-impact initiatives across education, employability, environment, and infrastructure.Ensure alignment with Schedule VII of the Companies Act (India) and CSR compliance norms.3. Program Development & OversightLead the design and execution of flagship CSR programs (e.g., digital literacy, rural healthcare, livelihood generation).Establish monitoring frameworks and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness.Ensure timely delivery, quality execution, and scalability of initiatives.4. Sustainability & Environmental StewardshipDrive initiatives in sustainability, climate action, waste management, and renewable energy adoption.Promote awareness campaigns on environmental conservation within communities.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ESG and sustainability goals.5. Stakeholder CollaborationAct as a key liaison between the company, government authorities, NGOs, and community leaders.Build strategic partnerships for effective program delivery and scale.Collaborate with internal business units to embed CSR into core operations.6. Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop the CSR team to drive high performance.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.Build organizational capability in CSR and community engagement.Key Requirements20+ years of experience in CSR, social development, sustainability, or rural development.Strong experience working in Odisha or Eastern India with deep local ecosystem understanding.Fluency in Odia language is mandatory.Proven track record of managing large-scale CSR programs and stakeholder engagement.Strong knowledge of CSR regulations, ESG frameworks, and government schemes.Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
