Company DescriptionThe Council for Digital Safety and Wellbeing (CDSW) is a national platform dedicated to fostering education, dialogue, and collaboration around the challenges posed by digital technologies and AI. As digital and AI-enabled ecosystems continue to transform various aspects of life, CDSW focuses on issues of safety, ethics, privacy, trust, and societal wellbeing. With a commitment to addressing concerns like misinformation, data misuse, deepfakes, and automation risks, CDSW empowers individuals, institutions, and communities to navigate the digital space responsibly.The RoleWe're looking for someone to lead the academic and intellectual side of our schools programs. You'll design the curriculum, own the content output (videos, guides, learning materials), and build our train-the-trainer program.You won't be managing operations or delivery — a separate Director handles that. Your job is to make sure what we teach is excellent, research-backed, age-appropriate, and works in an Indian classroom.What You'll DoDesign modular curriculum frameworks for Primary (Grades 2–4), Pre-Teens (5–7), and Teens (8–10)Build a core curriculum that adapts across school types — from government schools with limited tech to IB schools with full digital infrastructureOwn all content output: define briefs, scripts, storyboards for videos and learning materials. Production is handled by vendors; you decide what gets made and whether it's good enoughDesign the Certified Digital Wellbeing Trainer program — the key mechanism for scaling beyond our own teamBuild and manage an SME network (cybersecurity, child psychology, legal, ed-tech)Establish editorial standards, fact-checking protocols, and content governanceWhat We're Looking For15–20 years in education, curriculum design, or learning & developmentDirect experience with Indian school systems across CBSE, ICSE, state boards, or international curriculaExperience building train-the-trainer or teacher capacity programsAbility to simplify complex topics (cyber safety, digital ethics, data privacy) into engaging, age-appropriate learningStrong editorial judgmentDigital safety domain expertise is a plus but not required — we can build that if your pedagogical foundation is strong.LocationHyderabad preferred. Periodic travel across India for school visits, content pilots, and trainer programs.
