Company DescriptionNeelkkanth Food and Beverages is a beverage (water) manufacturer based in Aligarh, UP, manufacturing for Tata Copper+.Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Aligarh for a quality control microbiologist and chemist. The Quality Control Microbiologist and Chemist will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, analyzing samples, ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining laboratory equipment, and accurately recording results. Additionally, the role involves ensuring proper calibration of equipment and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.A – Microbiological ControlPerform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, packaging materials, and finished products Conduct environmental monitoring (air, surface, and personnel hygiene) Maintain aseptic conditions and handle culture/media preparation and incubation Operate and maintain microbiology lab equipment (autoclave, incubator, LAF, etc.) Analyze results and identify any microbial contamination Ensure effectiveness of sterilization and sanitation processes Dispose microbiological waste as per safety normsB – Chemical Quality ControlConduct chemical analysis of raw water, processed water, and finished products Monitor key parameters such as pH, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, and other quality indicators Oversee water treatment processes, including RO, filtration, and dosing systems Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments Analyze results and identify deviations in water chemistry Support process adjustments and troubleshooting related to chemical quality Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicalsC – Quality Systems & ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable standards (BIS, FSSAI, FSDA, WHO, etc.) Maintain all lab records, reports, and logs for traceability Support internal and external audits and inspections Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols Assist in implementation and maintenance of quality systems (ISO, HACCP, etc.) Identify deviations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Qualifications Proficiency in Quality Control processes and standards Strong Laboratory Skills, including handling and operating laboratory equipment Excellent Analytical Skills for accurate assessment and interpretation of data Experience with Laboratory Equipment usage and maintenance, including Calibration techniques Experience with record-keeping along with timely and structured reporting to the stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards is a plusOther Details Working Shift: 12 Hours Working shifts will include day or night shifts based on operational requirements. Candidates must be comfortable with night shifts. Candidate must be willing to relocate. Salary will be decided based on the candidate’s resume and interview performance. Indicative salary range: ₹14,000 – ₹25,000 per month. Salary for this role will not exceed ₹25,000 per month (subject to the above point). A male candidate is preferred considering the work in the night shift.
