Role Summary We are seeking a Global Employment Compliance Director to lead monitoring and interpretation of international labor and employment laws across all jurisdictions in which we operate or plan to expand. Based in India, this role will proactively identify regulatory changes and translate them into actionable operational and client-facing requirements. Key Responsibilities Continuously track changes in labor, employment, and contingent workforce laws globally Interpret legal developments across a variety of regions, such as APAC, EMEA, LATAM, Canada Assess impact of legal changes on contingent workforce models, and particularly Managed Service Provider programs Provide timely, clear, and actionable guidance to internal teams Update and maintain global compliance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures Draft monthly client-facing compliance insights for use by internal teams Support sales and delivery teams in structuring compliant workforce solutions Deep collaboration with General Counsel and Senior Associate General Counsel Qualifications Law degree (LLB / JD equivalent required) from a recognized university in India. 8–12+ years experience advising on international labor and employment laws across a wide variety of jurisdictions Experience advising multinational organizations Strong ability to translate legal language into business-operational guidance Works autonomously with ease Strict adherence to work product cadences and deadlines Clear and concise written work product Manages multiple tasks and projects with ease Willingness and ability to work U.S. hours periodically to accommodate project needs Preferred L.L.M. or similar certification Strong working knowledge of global data privacy laws, particularly General Data Protection Regulation and well versed in developments pertaining to Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
