About the Role: The Strategic Procurement Representative is responsible for leading indirect and Equipment procurement across the India Cluster, with a strong focus on logistics and equipment categories. This role drives cost optimization, supply assurance, and supports both regional and global sourcing strategies, ensuring robust procurement processes for logistics services and technical equipment.Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for logistics services (warehousing, transportation, insurance) and equipment categories (white goods, dispensers, pumps, fabricated items), in alignment with global and regional objectives.Delivering business results by ensuring supply assurance, cost efficiency, quality, service, and innovation in logistics and equipment procurement.Lead savings and cost reduction initiatives specifically targeting logistics and equipment spend.Collaborating with global category leads to optimizing sourcing strategies for technical assets and facility supplies.Coordinate contract formalization and alignment with category users and legal teams, with a focus on logistics and equipment agreements.Manage the Procure-to-Pay cycle for logistics and equipment purchases, working closely with finance.Conduct detailed spend analysis for logistics and equipment categories to identify opportunities for improvement.Reports to the IMEA Procurement Manager - Logistics and Market Leader. Qualifications:6 to 10 years experience in strategic procurement, with proven expertise in logistics and equipment procurement.Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and manage contracts for logistics services (warehousing, transportation, insurance) and technical equipment (white goods, facility supplies).Strong track record of optimizing supply chain operations and achieving cost efficiencies in logistics and equipment procurement.Advanced project management and organizational skills.Effective communicators, both written and verbal, able to influence stakeholders in logistics and equipment categories.Results-oriented, with a focus on setting and exceeding goals in logistics and equipment procurement.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess logistics and equipment spend and present actionable solutions.Skilled negotiator in logistics and equipment contracts.Solid business and financial acumen, with awareness of market trends in logistics and equipment procurement.Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/MRP systems.Team player and strong individual contributor. Required Skills:Significant and proven record of managing logistics, equipment, HR, IT, facilities, and supply chain categories and spend is preferred.Expertise in negotiating logistics and equipment contracts is highly valued.Experience in Logistics or White Good manufacturing is preferred.
