Job Title: Photography & Video EditorDepartment: Photography & Videography Location: MIT ADT University, Vishwaraj Baug, Loni Kalbhor, PuneRole ObjectiveThe Photography & Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-impact visual narratives that showcase MIT ADT University’s vibrant campus life, academic excellence, and world-class events. This role combines technical expertise in camera operation with advanced post-production skills to produce content for social media, university archives, and marketing campaigns.Key Responsibilities1. Production (Field Work)Event Coverage: Capture high-quality stills and cinematic video footage of university events, including convocation, cultural fests (Persona), guest lectures, and sports meets.Campus Life: Conduct periodic shoots of the 85-acre campus, architecture, and student lifestyle to maintain a fresh visual asset library.Equipment Management: Responsible for the upkeep, inventory, and safe handling of department gear (DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment).2. Post-Production (Editing)Video Editing: Transform raw footage into engaging short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form content (Documentaries/Promos) using industry-standard software.Color & Audio: Perform professional color grading and sound design/mixing to ensure high production value.Photo Post-Processing: Edit and retouch photographs for university magazines, websites, and press releases.Motion Graphics: Create basic lower-thirds, intro/outro animations, and text overlays to enhance video storytelling.3.
