This role focuses on handling application and platform support tickets for multiple customers using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services such as SAPUI5 applications, CAPM (Node.js), SAP Build Process Automation (BPA),Document Management Service (DMS), and Identity Authentication Service (IAS).The engineer will be responsible for analyzing application issues, troubleshooting production problems, managing deployments, and ensuring smooth operation ofapplications hosted on SAP BTP across multiple customer landscapes. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP BTP services, application architectures, and support processes, combined with the ability to independently investigate issues and deliver reliable solutions.Key Responsibilities • Act as the primary technical owner of support tickets related to SAP BTP applications and services.• Analyze incidents and service requests raised through ticketing tools such as Jira.• Troubleshoot issues in SAPUI5 applications, CAPM (Node.js) services, and BTP hosted applications.• Investigate and resolve production issues including application errors, deployment failures, and integration issues.• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions aligned with SLA targets.• Perform bug fixes and minor enhancements in applications and services.• Analyze application logs, traces, and monitoring tools to identify root causes.• Provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring issues.• Understand and analyze application architectures to diagnose issues effectively.• Manage role collections, user access, and authorization assignments in BTP.• Handle deployments across environments using CI/CD pipelines.• Work with Git repositories for version control and code management.• Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues involving IAS and application-level security.• Support SAP BPA workflows and troubleshoot automation-related issues.• Manage and troubleshoot SAP DMS-related document handling issues.• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and stakeholders for complex issues.• Maintain documentation of solutions, known issues, and troubleshooting procedures.• Provide proactive recommendations to improve application stability and performance.Required Technical SkillsSAP BTP Technologies • Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services.• Experience working with SAPUI5/Fiori applications.• Hands-on experience with CAPM (Node.js) development and support.• Experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA).
