Strategic Leadership & Institution BuildingDefine and drive the vision, mission, and long-term strategy of the universityLead the end-to-end setup and operationalisation of the institutionBuild a differentiated positioning with strong industry integration2. Academic Excellence & Program DevelopmentOversee the design and delivery of high-quality, industry-relevant curriculaEnsure compliance with UGC and regulatory frameworksPromote interdisciplinary learning and research culture3. Faculty & Leadership HiringAttract, recruit, and retain high-calibre academic leaders and facultyBuild a strong academic governance structure (Deans, HoDs, Academic Council)4. Industry & Ecosystem IntegrationLeverage the ecosystem for academic collaborations, live projects, and researchDevelop partnerships with corporates, institutions, and global universities5. Governance & ComplianceEnsure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirementsEstablish transparent and effective governance practices6. Brand Building & External RepresentationPosition University as a credible and aspirational institutionRepresent the university across academic, industry, and government platformsQualificationsPhD from a reputed institution (mandatory)Strong academic track record with publications/research contributionsExperience15–20+ years in academia, with significant leadership experienceProven track record in institution building or scaling academic institutionsExperience working with regulatory bodies (UGC/AICTE/NAAC, etc.)
