At The SkinVet, we are dedicated to dealing with skin diseases in animals by doing a comprehensive case workup & providing a holistic treatment plan.Role Description & ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinarian at The SkinVet Clinic at Worli, Mumbai. The Veterinarian will be responsible for taking a full history, carrying out diagnostic tests & coming up with a holistic treatment plan for skin conditions (dermatopathies) in animals, as well as communicating effectively with clients, writing up prescriptions systematically & maintaining good work ethics.QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent3-4 years experience mandatoryLicensure as a veterinarianExperience & interest in diagnosing and treating various skin diseases in animalsKnowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and animal behaviourKnowledge of various oral & topical drugs used in vet dermatology as well as their dosesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a teamCompassion and empathy for animalsAttention to detail and good problem-solving skillsPhysical stamina to handle and restrain animalsExperience with exotic animals is a plus (not mandatory)
