Job Description

About Toddle Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K–12 schools. Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries. Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students. Our approach is three-pronged. First, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place. Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights. Second, every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences. Third, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Headquartered in India with a multicultural team across 20+ countries, Toddle is built by former educators and school practitioners who understand the realities of classrooms firsthand. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and reducing unnecessary complexity for teachers. People who thrive at Toddle enjoy building thoughtful systems, care about real-world impact, and are motivated by long-term change in K-12 education. Here’s what you’ll be doing We are looking for a strong generalist Associate Director, Growth (Americas) to join our Growth team. You will work closely with the Growth leadership team to drive GTM initiatives across the U.S., Canada, and broader Americas region. This is a high-ownership role spanning growth strategy, execution, and operations — including market expansion, pipeline generation, partnerships, sales infrastructure, and business analysis. The role begins with end-to-end ownership of a priority growth vertical in the Americas, with an immediate focus on building and scaling it as a 0→1 business line. In the first 8–10 months, success will come from hands-on execution across demand generation, partnerships, and conversion channels, while delivering measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes. This is not a pure managerial role on day one. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, getting into the details, and building momentum through execution. Over time, the scope is expected to expand into broader leadership responsibilities across multiple verticals, including leading cross-vertical initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and operating as a key growth leader for the Americas business. Given the nature of the role, you will collaborate closely with both India-based and Americas-based teams, requiring strong cross-timezone coordination and flexible working rhythms. Key Responsibilities: Own growth outcomes for a priority Americas vertical from strategy through execution, with clear revenue and pipeline accountability. Build and scale GTM motions across demand generation, partnerships, outbound, events, and conversion channels. Lead end-to-end execution of campaigns and growth programs while driving speed, quality, and consistency. Create repeatable systems, processes, and operating cadences that improve efficiency and scalability. Analyze funnel performance, pipeline trends, and channel effectiveness to drive smarter decisions and resource allocation. Solve ambiguous problems with structured thinking, first-principles reasoning, and strong execution judgment. Act as a key bridge across India and Americas teams, partnering with leadership and eventually mentoring junior team members. We’re hiring for this role from two primary backgrounds, but both share the same underlying mindset and values. Profile 1 - Top-tier consultants You may come from a top-tier consulting firm and have worked across multiple projects in fast-changing environments. You’re likely strong at structuring problems, communicating clearly, and managing complex, multi-threaded programs. You’ve led teams before, think from first principles, and operate with deep humility. Profile 2 - Experienced growth operators You may be an experienced software operator with prior exposure to regional or global growth & marketing roles. You’ve worked across brand, digital, and field marketing, and understand how to build pipeline in partnership with sales. You’re comfortable owning regions, running events, and adapting positioning to different local contexts across India and global markets. The mindset we value Across both profiles, we look for a few non-negotiable attributes: First-principles thinking - the ability to reason from fundamentals and not rely on playbooks blindly. Excellent communication skills - since you’ll be in a customer-facing role from day 1, and be expected to work cross-functionally across the organisation. Strong program management - you’ll have a lot on your plate at any given time, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute is critical. Ownership and independence - comfort operating with high autonomy and accountability across a multi-cultural organisation. Strong collaboration - a team-first mindset with the ability to work closely across Sales, SDRs, and leadership. Deep humility and attention to detail - respect for educators, care for craft, and doing the small things right (our company motto). Role Requirements Experience: 3–5 years in growth, consulting, program management, GTM, operations, or related roles in a fast-paced B2B SaaS / technology environment Strong pedigree preferred, including IIT / IIM, top-tier consulting firms, or other high-rigor operating environments.
