Primary PurposeThe Senior PLM Process Adoption Lead is responsible for driving the successful adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement of PLM processes across global engineering and manufacturing organizations. This role owns business-facing PLM process definition and adoption, ensuring that Windchill PLM capabilities are effectively aligned to engineering, product development, and manufacturing needs.This position requires deep expertise in PLM-enabled product development processes, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation across PLM, CAD, ERP, and related enterprise systemsMajor Responsibilities Serve as the business lead and primary point of contact for PLM process adoption initiativesAnalyze, prioritize, and document business requirements, pain points, and process gaps across engineering and manufacturingDefine, design, and standardize PLM-enabled processes aligned to enterprise strategy and roadmapPartner with PLM architects, IT, and system integrators to translate business requirements into technical solutionsLead and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of PLM process deploymentsDesign, train, and deploy new or enhanced PLM processes into production environmentsDrive change management, training, and communication activities to ensure successful user adoptionMentor and guide engineering systems team members and business stakeholders on PLM best practicesSupport PLM integrations with downstream and upstream systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, manufacturing systems)Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and continuous improvementParticipate in global PLM rollout planning, deployment readiness, and post-deployment stabilizationEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceWork Experience10 years of experience in PLM, engineering systems, or product development process rolesStrong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM or equivalent enterprise PLM platformsExperience leading PLM process adoption, transformation, or global rollout initiativesKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented languageStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in cross-functional environmentsDeep knowledge of product development and change management processes (NPD, ECN, MCN)Experience as a Windchill Solution Architect or PLM functional leadExperience supporting global, multi-division engineering organizationsExperience developing training materials, standards, and governance models for PLM processesKnowledge of CAD, MBD, manufacturing process management, or digital thread conceptsKnowledge of PLM–ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle) and middleware technologies
