Our style is anime-style Storytime fast, emotional, and highly “watchable.” We’re looking for a VFX & SFX Artist who can take animation scenes and make them feel alive through clean compositing, impactful visual effects, and satisfying sound effects plus repurpose episodes into high-performing YouTube Shorts.Key Responsibilities:Do compositing for anime-style Storytime scenes (layering, depth, camera moves, light/shadow polish, final look).Create visual effects: glows, particles, speed lines, impact frames, shake, motion blur, lightning, fire/smoke, magic/energy, screen FX, transitions, etc.Add sound effects (SFX) and special effects audio to enhance emotion, comedy, tension, and pacing (whooshes, hits, ambience, stingers).Create Shorts from long episodes: select best moments, punch up pacing, add captions/subtitles, add hooks, add transitions, deliver platform-ready exports.Maintain style consistency (VFX intensity, timing, typography/captions standards, audio loudness consistency).Work fast with feedback: implement revisions cleanly in tight production cycles.Keep projects organized: naming, versions, exports, assets, and handoff files that the team can reuse.Qualifications:Proven experience in VFX + compositing + short-form editing for animated content (YouTube/shorts/series).Strong command of tools like After Effects + Premiere Pro (or equivalents such as DaVinci Resolve/Fusion), and audio tools like Audition (or strong audio workflow).Solid understanding of timing, impact, rhythm, and storytelling through edits (this matters more than “fancy effects”).Ability to design and mix SFX cleanly (no messy, overpowering, or inconsistent audio)Portfolio/reel that clearly shows before/after shots, VFX breakdowns, and at least 3–5 Shorts you’ve edited.Reliable, deadline-driven, detail-obsessed.
