You will partner closely with the Head of Data and Head of AI, who lead offshore delivery, while owning architecture strategy and client engagement in the US.This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence both clients and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement & Technical LeadershipLead client discovery workshops and technical discussionsTranslating business requirements into practical data solutionsBuild trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholdersPresent solutions to executive and technical audiencesPresales & SolutioningPartner with sales to shape deals and proposalsLead RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and estimationDevelop POCs, demos, and reference architecturesImprove win rates through strong technical positioningDelivery Oversight (Design Authority)Provide architecture oversight during deliveryEnsure alignment between design and executionResolve technical escalations and design challengesMinimize rework through clear upfront architectureSolution Architecture LeadershipOwn end-to-end data engineering project delivery across engagementsDefine scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutionsServe as the final authority on technical design decisionsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with:Head of Data on Execution & deliveryHead of AI on advanced analytics & AI integrationSales team on pipeline and deal strategyAct as the single point of accountability for technical integrityPractice DevelopmentContribute to data practice strategy and growthBuild reusable solution accelerators and frameworksMentor teams on modern data architecture patternsSupport expansion into AI, analytics, and platform engineeringRequired QualificationsExperience12–15+ years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics5+ years in solution architecture or consulting rolesStrong experience in client-facing roles (consulting/services)Proven track record in presales and deal supportTechnical ExpertiseModern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)Cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Data engineering (ETL/ELT, pipelines, orchestration)Data warehousing, data lakes and Lakehouse architectureAPIs, integrations, and real-time data processingData governance, security, and complianceSoft SkillsStrong executive communication and presentation skillsAbility to simplify complex technical conceptsHigh ownership and decision-making capabilityExperience working with global/offshore teamsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in AI/ML integration with data platformsBackground in consulting or professional services firmsExposure to multiple industries (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.)Experience building or scaling data practice
