At Orbit, we are building a consumer app. This is based on a behavioral psychology framework grounded in Big Five psychology and active research in personality science. The framework is live and under continuous development. We're hiring a Consulting Psychologist to lead the ongoing research behind it.What you'll doLead continuous empirical validation of the frameworkDesign and run psychology research, behavioral studies, and psychological assessments with usersTranslate research findings into concrete product features and product decisionsConduct qualitative interviews and behavioral analysis with early usersReview and contribute to ongoing academic literature in psychology, behavioral science, and personality researchPublish and co-author white papers and related publications as the research evolvesWork directly with the founder on product direction, with psychology research as the inputWho we're looking forPsychology, behavioral science, or cognitive science backgrounds. BA, MA, MSc, MPhil, or PhD in Psychology. Clinical psychologists, counseling psychologists, research psychologists, or behavioral scientists are all welcomeGood to have : Hands-on experience with empirical research, qualitative and quantitative methods, survey design, psychological assessments, or personality research. Comfort translating findings into product decisions
