Job Description for Sr. Business Central DeveloperOverallHighly skilled and experienced Senior Developer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365Business Central (BC) to lead the design, development, and optimization of ERP solutions. Thisrole requires deep technical expertise in AL programming, a strong understanding of businessprocesses, and the ability to collaborate across departments and customer(s) to deliverscalable, high-impact solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Developmento Architect and develop custom extensions and integrations within BusinessCentral using AL and related technologies.o Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalablesolutions.o Optimize performance, usability, and maintainability of existing BCimplementations. ERP Strategy & Leadershipo Serve as a technical consultant on Business Central projects, guiding juniordevelopers and collaborating with functional consultants.o Evaluate and recommend best practices, tools, and frameworks to enhanceBusiness Central and DSVC Add-0ns capabilities.o Stay current with Microsoft’s roadmap and proactively assess implications forthe organization. Integration & Automationo Design and implement integrations with external systems (e.g., Power Platform,Azure Functions, third-party APIs).o Automate workflows and data exchanges to improve operational efficiency. Support & Maintenanceo Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Business Centralenvironments and DSVC Add-onso Monitor On-Premises databases health, perform upgrades, and ensurecompliance and optimum efficiency of the code Required Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central. Proficiency in Dynamics NAV development. Proficiency in AL language and Visual Studio Code. Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.). Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate). Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.SALARY BUDGET:Like I mentioned during our meeting, the salary depends on how good the candidate is.
