Designation: International Procurement (Heavy Electrical Machinery/ Industrial Machinery)Location: Mumbai (Ghatkopar East)Experience: 1+ YearsSalary: Upto 5.5 LPAJob Overview:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Import – Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end international procurement and import operations. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, documentation, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop reliable international vendors and suppliersHandle the end-to-end import procurement processRequest quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with overseas suppliersPrepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)Coordinate with logistics partners, shipping agents, and customs clearance teamsManage import documentation, including:Proforma InvoiceCommercial InvoicePacking ListBill of Lading / Airway BillTrack shipments and ensure timely deliveryEnsure compliance with import regulations and company policiesCoordinate with accounts for payment processing (LC, advance payments, etc.)Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performanceResolve issues related to shipment delays, damages, or discrepanciesKey Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (Commerce / Supply Chain / International Business preferred)1+ years of experience in import purchase or international procurementGood understanding of import procedures and documentationStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsKnowledge of LC, Incoterms, and customs clearance processesProficiency in MS Excel and ERP systemsGood communication and coordination skills.Benefits:Every 3rd Saturday is off along with all Sundays fixed off.Company Profile:The company is an industrial safety solutions provider focused on enhancing workplace and vehicle safety across sectors like ports, logistics, warehouses, mining, and construction.
