For over two decades, BGR has helped founders, promoters, and investors de-risk CXO and site-head hiring in complex, high-growth sectors.With India accelerating investments in electronics manufacturing, power electronics, and semiconductor ecosystems under national missions and PLI schemes, BGR is building a Sector Partner Network and is looking for a Partner – Sector Expert (Electronics, Power Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing).The RoleThis is a part-time, strategic, non-operational role for a senior leader from the electronics / power electronics / semiconductor ecosystem who wants to:Stay at the centre of India’s electronics and semiconductor build-out without taking a full-time corporate roleWork directly with promoters, boards, and CXOs of manufacturing companies, OSAT/ATMP units, design-led firms, and power electronics playersMonetize sector insight, relationships, and judgment in a focused, founder-led boutique platformThe selected Partner will work closely with BGR’s Founder & CEO and the internal research team.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a sector face for BGR in Electronics, Power Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing (including EMS/ODM, components, power electronics, OSAT/ATMP, and allied manufacturing)Open doors and make warm introductions to promoters, MDs, CEOs, BU Heads, Site Heads, and CHROs in this ecosystemCo-shape critical mandates such as MD, CEO, COO, Plant/Site Head, Fab/OSAT Head, Head of Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and key technical leadership rolesBring practical sector insight into role design, candidate evaluation, and final selection, especially around technology maturity, yield, reliability, and global customer expectationsParticipate in selected client meetings, reviews, and strategic discussionsHelp conceptualize sector-specific offerings such as leadership for greenfield fabs/OSAT plants, scale-up leadership for PLI-backed expansion, and interim/fractional leadership solutionsThis is not a traditional sales or delivery role. It is a relationship, judgment, and sector credibility role.Ideal ProfileThis role is best suited for a senior professional who has:15–25+ years in electronics manufacturing, power electronics, semiconductor manufacturing (front-end or back-end), OSAT/ATMP, or closely related domainsExperience as MD, CEO, COO, Business/BU Head, Fab/OSAT Head, Site/Plant Head, or senior functional leader (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program/Technology)Strong credibility with promoters, boards, and CXOs in the electronics and semiconductor ecosystemDeep understanding of manufacturing, technology ramps, supply chain, quality, reliability, and global customer requirementsA preference for a sharp, founder-led, high-trust platform over a large generic consulting setupBandwidth for approximately 8–12 hours per month on a flexible basisPrior executive search experience is not required.
