Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled professional for Tendering, Bidding & Cost Estimation of Transmission Lines, Distribution Networks, Substations, and Solar (PV) Projects. The role involves end-to-end bid management, cost estimation, techno-commercial analysis, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.Key Responsibilities:1. Tendering & Bid ManagementReview and analyze tender documents (NIT, RFP, BOQ, technical specifications)Identify key requirements, risks, and submission criteriaPrepare and submit techno-commercial bids within timelinesCoordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, legal)2. Estimation & CostingPrepare detailed cost estimates for:Transmission Lines (HV/EHV)Distribution Lines (LT/HT networks)Substations (AIS/GIS)Solar PV Projects (ground-mounted & rooftop)BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost benchmarkingVendor/contractor quotations evaluation and cost comparisonDevelop pricing strategies to enhance bid competitiveness3. Technical EvaluationInterpret drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specificationsCoordinate with engineering team for design inputs and clarificationsEnsure compliance with client specifications and industry standards4. Commercial & Contractual AnalysisAnalyze commercial terms, payment conditions, LD clauses, taxes, and dutiesIdentify risks and deviations; prepare deviation statementsSupport contract negotiations and finalization5. Vendor & Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with vendors/suppliers for quotations and technical dataMaintain vendor database and benchmarking recordsCoordinate with clients for pre-bid queries and clarifications6. Documentation & MISPrepare bid documentation, technical submissions, and compliance sheetsMaintain records of bids, cost data, and estimation templatesGenerate MIS reports for management reviewKey Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of T&D systems and Solar EPC projectsExpertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysisUnderstanding of IS/IEC standards, regulatory frameworksProficiency in MS Excel (advanced), ERP systems, AutoCAD (basic understanding)Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesEducational Qualification:B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / MechanicalPreferred Experience:Experience with EPC companies handling Transmission, Substation, and Solar projectsExp: 10+ YrsCTC Upto 30 LPANotice period 30 Days Max
