Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Logistics & Waste Management Engineer to join our team at Dar Al-Handasah.The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of waste management and logistics systems and strategies across a wide range of international projects.Key Responsibilities:Perform waste generation calculations and equipment sizing.Prepare technical design reports and permitting documentation for waste management systems.Develop drawings and layouts for waste facilities using BIM (Revit) and CAD software.Conduct research on innovative technologies, systems, and sustainability practices.Design and size loading and service areas for complex facilities such as commercial buildings, hospitals, and airports.Develop logistics strategies including receiving, internal transport, storage, and distribution planning.Design both manual and automated warehouse storage systems.Design pneumatic waste collection system and pneumatic tube system.Healthcare waste management plans and treatment equipment.Coordinate with the wider team to integrate the waste and logistics equipment and requirements into the building design.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field.Experience level 7+ yearsGood proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a teamGood time-management and organizational skillsAttention to detail and commitment to high-quality workWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
