Job SummaryThe Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant - Support is a dedicated professional responsible for the ongoing technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of the Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role is a critical part of the support team, focusing on resolving technical issues, troubleshooting integrations and reports, and performing routine maintenance tasks. The consultant will serve as a technical expert for the business, ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of the Oracle Fusion environment.Key Responsibilities• Technical Support & Incident Resolution: o Serve as a second or third-line technical support for Oracle Fusion applications, responding to and resolving technical incidents and service requests from end-users and other IT teams.o Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to integrations, custom reports, data conversions, and system performance.o Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring technical issues and work to implement permanent solutions.o Log and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support, providing necessary logs and information to facilitate resolution.• Development & Maintenance: o Provide ongoing technical support for custom reports built with BI Publisher, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), including debugging and modifying existing reports.o Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations built with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), File-Based Data Import (FBDI), and other integration methods.o Perform minor technical enhancements and customizations to meet new business requirements.o Execute data corrections and data uploads using standard Oracle tools.• System Administration & Release Management: o Monitor and manage scheduled jobs and concurrent programs to ensure successful completion.o Assist in the planning and execution of technical tasks for quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, including impact analysis of new features on existing custom solutions.o Perform regression testing of technical components (reports, integrations, customizations) after updates or patches.o Maintain and update technical documentation for all custom objects, including integration specifications, report layouts, and code changes.• Communication & Collaboration: o Collaborate closely with functional consultants to understand and resolve end-to-end business process issues with a technical component.o Work with cross-functional IT teams to support integrations and maintain system integrity.o Communicate technical resolutions clearly and effectively to non-technical users and business stakeholders.Required Qualifications• Experience:• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle Fusion.• Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining technical components in Oracle Fusion Financials Modules.• Technical Skills:• Strong proficiency in Oracle's technical toolset, including BI Publisher and OTBI.• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building and maintaining integrations.• Solid understanding of the Oracle Fusion data model and a strong command of SQL and PL/SQL.• Experience with data loaders like FBDI.Preferred Qualifications• Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).• Experience with Groovy script for custom page development.• Familiarity with a ticketing system like ServiceNow or Jira.Key Skills & Competencies• Technical Acumen: Deep technical knowledge and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve complex technical problems.• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a methodical and logical approach to troubleshooting.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in documenting issues, resolutions, and technical specifications.• Proactive & Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively identify opportunities for system improvement.
