We are seeking a highly experienced VMware NSX Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert driving the architecture, deployment, and optimization of VMware NSX environments. You'll play a critical role in shaping network virtualization strategies, leading technical engagements, and delivering scalable, secure solutions across private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DeploymentLead end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of VMware NSX and Aria Operations for NetworksDesign and implement multi-site architectures including network provisioning, workload management, configuration management, and disaster recovery strategiesIntegrate NSX with third-party platforms spanning infrastructure, storage, networking, and security solutionsOperations & ManagementOversee deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of NSX and Aria Operations for NetworksDevelop and enforce micro-segmentation policies to strengthen network security postureEnsure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and compliance requirementsCollaboration & LeadershipLead technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teamsMentor junior consultants and provide guidance on troubleshooting and optimizationParticipate in pre-sales engagements to scope and position NSX-based networking solutionsDevelop and deliver technical documentation, design documents, and deployment best practicesExperience15+ years of hands-on technical experience with VMware and supporting technologies5+ years as a network engineer or architectProven experience deploying, upgrading, and managing NSX-T environmentsExperience migrating NSX-V to NSX-T environmentsHands-on experience with Aria Operations for Networks (vRNI) for traffic analysis and micro-segmentationExperience installing, configuring, and managing virtual networks and virtual load balancersAbility to work independently in a remote environmentSkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional technical discussionsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertificationsRequired: VCP-NVPreferred: VCP-DCV, VCP-CMA, VCAP-DCV, VCAP-CMA, VCDX-NV, VCP-VCF, VCAP-NV
