With a presence in San Francisco and Hyderabad, we are a fast-growing, mission-driven team focused on building AI for Good and creating meaningful impact.Role Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented Marathi Translator (Freelancer) to support our AI and data initiatives by translating and localizing content with high accuracy and cultural relevance. This role plays a key part in building high-quality multilingual datasets and user experiences.Key Responsibilities:Translate content between English and Marathi with high accuracy and clarityEnsure cultural and contextual relevance in all translationsReview, edit, and proofread translated content for quality and consistencyFollow project-specific guidelines and maintain linguistic standardsWork on a variety of content types (text, datasets, UI content, etc.)Collaborate with internal teams to improve translation quality and workflowsRequired Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Marathi and English (reading, writing, comprehension)1–3 years of experience in translation, localization, or content-related rolesExcellent grammar, vocabulary, and language skills in MarathiHigh attention to detail and ability to maintain consistencyAbility to work independently in a remote setup and meet deadlinesGood to Have:Prior experience in AI data annotation or localization projectsFamiliarity with translation tools (CAT tools, glossaries, style guides)Background in linguistics, literature, or related fieldsExperience handling large volumes of contentWhy Join Us?Competitive pay (₹1200/hour)Flexible working hoursFully remote opportunityOpportunity to contribute to impactful multilingual AI projects
