Project descriptionWe are looking for an experienced specialist to work for one of our clients from the banking industry.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures in compliance with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans.Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.Collaborate with Crew Leads, Test Engineering Chapter Lead, and Agile coaches to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Collaborate with Dev Leads to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities, and areas of collaborationBe a hands-on contributor in the test automation space, capable of writing and contributing to test automation frameworks, leading across best practices for API, stream, and non-functional testing in the cloud and on-prem.Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Continuously improve Test Engineering processes and methodologies.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Mandatory skillsMinimum 6 to 8 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flowShould have a full understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect LifecycleShould have Automation experience using tools like Selenium (BDD framework with Java/Python)Good to have DevOps knowledge along with Automation testing experience and be able to work on the CICD Integration of automated test packs.Good to have experience in Banking & Financial Markets, preferably Investment BankingForex Trade SettlementsShould have experience with Test data identification & creationShould have experience in working & handling different phases of testingShould have Experience in building automation frameworksShould have Exposure to test management tools (e.g., Gitlab, JIRA, Quality Centre)Should engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, and riskGood to have experience in Security & Performance Testing.Good to have a basic understanding of Java programming for macros developmentGood to have working experience on various CI toolsGood to have working experience with globally distributed teamsNice to have skillsPassionate about what you do, you value excellence, learning and integrity, you like a work environment that places emphasis on team work, collaboration and delivering business value while working at a sustainable paceSomeone who is self-driven and like to solve complex problem on their ownProactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirementsShould be a quick learner
