Company: HexonicLocation: Bangalore - India / RemoteTravel to USA: Occasional only (trade shows, internal meetings)Salary - 15 - 18 (INR) LPARole OverviewHexonic Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer whose primary responsibility is to support customers directly by responding to technical inquiries, selecting and sizing heat exchangers, and supporting quotation activities across HVAC, data center, and refrigeration applications.This role serves as the front-line technical interface for customers and sales partners, translating application requirements into optimized Hexonic Inc. solutions while coordinating internally with engineering, production, and quality teams.This is a predominantly remote role with no routine travel. Occasional travel may occur for trade shows or internal technical meetings.Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical point of contact for customers and sales partnersReceive, analyze, and respond to customer inquiries with accurate heat exchanger sizing, selection, and technical recommendationsSupport quotation activities by providing technical input, performance data, configurations, and clarificationsInterface directly with customers to define operating conditions, system requirements, and application constraintsSupport applications across HVAC, data centers (liquid cooling, heat rejection, white space cooling), and refrigeration systemsUtilize Hexonic sizing and selection tools to ensure solutions meet or exceed customer performance requirementsCoordinate internally with sales, engineering, production, and quality teams from inquiry through order releaseMaintain accurate inquiry, quotation, and customer data within CRM and ERP systemsProvide technical clarification during order execution and assist with issue resolution as neededEnsure all solutions comply with Hexonic engineering standards, design practices, and quality requirementsOther ResponsibilitiesSupport continuous improvement of application tools, templates, and technical documentationContribute to standardization of application practices across Hexonic product linesParticipate occasionally in customer meetings, trade shows, and internal technical reviewsPrepare and share monthly performance reports for sales reps using CRM data (pipeline, orders, wins/losses), including basic charts in Excel/PowerPointFollow up on open opportunities to keep status updated and note reasons for lost dealsMaintain accurate CRM data (PipeDrive), including contacts and opportunity tracking, to ensure reliable reportingQualificationsEngineering background or equivalent technical educationFundamental knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transferExperience in customer-facing technical roles such as Application Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, or similarStrong customer orientation with the ability to clearly communicate technical conceptsProficiency with CRM, ERP systems, and Microsoft OfficeStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsSystematic and detail-oriented approach to workFluent English communication skills (written and verbal)Valid driver’s licenseEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in an engineering or technical application roleWorking knowledge of heat exchanger technologies (plate & frame, brazed plate, shell & tube)Experience using selection and sizing softwareExposure to HVAC systems, data center cooling, or refrigeration applications preferredTravelOccasional travel only, such as trade shows or internal meetingsNo regular or extensive travel requiredWork EnvironmentThis position is remote and may be performed from a home office or other approved remote work locationRegular interaction with customers, sales teams, and internal engineering and manufacturing teams via phone, video conferencing, and emailStandard home-office and office working conditions apply
