The company is scaling globally, with team operations in the US and India.About This RoleAs Finance & Accounts Manager, you will drive financial operations and accounting functions for California Design Den's India office. You'll manage end-to-end accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance. This is a critical role that ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all financial activities, supporting CDD's aggressive growth trajectory.Key Responsibilities• Manage full accounting cycle activities including GL reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, and account coding• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow requirements• Prepare and file statutory returns and compliance documents• Reconcile inter-company transactions and prepare consolidation schedules• Work with the CFO and US Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting• Ensure all financial transactions comply with US GAAP and Indian statutory requirements• Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods• Maintain organized financial records and documentation• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff (as the function grows)Required Experience• 6–10 years of accounting and finance experience with exposure to financial reporting• Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)• Expertise in accounts payable and receivable processes• Experience with bank reconciliations and GL management• Solid understanding of US GAAP and Indian statutory compliance• Experience working in e-commerce or fast-growing companies preferred• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools• Experience managing and developing team members preferredWhy Join CDD• Lead and build the India Finance function of a global D2C brand.• High-visibility role reporting to CFO with direct US leadership exposure.• Dynamic, fast-moving e-commerce environment with real financial impact.• Competitive compensation and a strong career growth trajectory.alifornia Design Den (CDD) is a US-based premium home & lifestyle brand with a fast-growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business powered by Shopify Plus.
