As a Senior Counsellor – Life Skills, you’ll play a key role in shaping students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioural growth. Working closely with a diverse group of learners, including students with special needs, you’ll guide them through structured interventions and personalised support, helping them build confidence, independence, and self-awareness that extends far beyond academics. Here’s what your days will actually look like (and why you’ll love them): ● Conduct one-on-one and group life skills sessions, driving meaningful engagement and real developmental outcomes. ● Manage an independent cohort of up to 30 students, ensuring consistent progress across emotional, behavioural, and social development areas. ● Design and deliver structured modules around self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication, and decision-making. ● Work closely with students with diverse and special learning needs using adaptive, inclusive counselling approaches. ● Conduct and interpret psychometric assessments, translating insights into actionable guidance for students and parents. ● Collaborate with parents, educators, and stakeholders while maintaining strong communication and progress tracking. ● Maintain detailed documentation, session notes, and reports while contributing to program improvement and research. ● Represent eduVelocity across workshops, school engagements, and external forums while supporting outreach initiatives. Who we’re excited to meet: You have 2+ years of experience in life skills counselling, student counselling, or working with children/young adults, including those with special needs. Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related fields (preferred) RCI certification or relevant specialisation in special education (preferred but not mandatory) You bring experience or exposure to ADHD, Autism spectrum, or diverse learning needs. You have a strong understanding of psychometric tools, behavioural assessments, and intervention strategies. You communicate with empathy, build trust easily, and handle sensitive situations with maturity. You’re organised, patient, adaptable, and can manage multiple student journeys with ownership. Work Schedule: ● Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM ● Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM Note: Employees will be required to work flexibly as per client needs. The same will be compensated through time-off.
