“Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in case of success.”Sir Ernest Shackleton - Antarctic explorerMeet the team!We are Modelia. We are building the platform that will transform how the fashion industry creates, manages, and scales visual content. For decades, brands have relied on photoshoots as the foundation of their visual production. They are expensive, slow, and deeply embedded in every P&L.We believe that model is coming to an end.Modelia replaces photoshoots with a software-first approach. A single product image becomes the starting point for generating complete visual assets across eCommerce, marketing, and campaigns. What used to require studios, logistics, and large production teams can now be created, iterated, and scaled instantly. This is not a feature. It is a shift in how an entire industry operates. Our ambition is to become the platform fashion brands rely on globally to produce visuals, removing photoshoots from their workflows and from their cost structure altogether. We are a small, focused team, moving fast, building something that doesn’t have a clear precedent. The RoleThis is the most important hire we will make this year: You will own how Modelia feels. Not just how it looks, but how it behaves. How users understand it. How complexity is turned into something that feels obvious. Our product is powerful, but not yet simple. That is the work. You will work on real problems coming from real users. We see where people struggle. We see where they hesitate, where they get lost, where they drop off. You will take that friction and turn it into clarity. You will design new capabilities end to end, from the first idea to what actually ships. You will make decisions that define how users interact with AI systems that don’t yet have established patterns. You will work closely with engineering to ensure what is designed is actually built well. There is no separation between thinking and execution here.If you enjoy taking something complex and making it feel inevitable, this role will fit. What we are looking forYou have real experience building complex products where UX is not obvious and requires judgment. You’ve spent years designing systems, not just screens. You know how to structure information, define interactions, and bring coherence to products that grow fast and become messy. You have a portfolio that shows how you think. Not just outcomes, but how you got there, what you considered, and why you made the decisions you made. You are comfortable working closely with engineers and understand what it takes to move from idea to production without losing intent. You use user feedback and product data as inputs, not as instructions. You can interpret what you see and turn it into clear design direction. You care about quality and details, but you don’t hide behind perfection. You move fast, make decisions, and improve continuously.Clear communication in English is required. We work asynchronously across teams and timezones. You'll have an edge if you bringExperience designing for fashion eCommerce, AI tooling, or visual generation products (Midjourney style, Photoshop, Figma itself, Canva, Runway, etc.)Past work on enterprise grade SaaS with team and seat models, role based access, and admin surfaces.Comfort with motion design, and a clear sense of how a hover, a loading state, or a transition can carry meaning.A published design system or open source contribution we can look at.What We OfferYou will:
