Job DescriptionL1 Engineer – Forcepoint DLP & DSPMRole: L1 Engineer – Forcepoint DLP & DSPMExperience: 1–3 yearsLocation: Customer Premises (Onsite) - PuneShift: 12x6 Onsite (with 12x7 remote backup coverage)Role SummaryHandle daily operations, monitoring, and L1 incident response for the customer’s Forcepoint DLP and DSPM environment, ensuring SLA-driven service delivery and policy hygiene across endpoints and servers.Key Responsibilities• Manage day-to-day operations and BAU activities of Forcepoint DLP (Network, Endpoint, Email, Web) and Forcepoint DSPM.• Monitor consoles, dashboards, and alerts; perform L1 triage, incident validation, and ticket logging.• Configure, fine-tune, and maintain DLP policies, rules, and classifiers to reduce false positives.• Troubleshoot Forcepoint endpoint agent issues – installation, upgrades, connectivity, and policy sync.• Perform health checks of Forcepoint management servers, agents, and components on server and endpoint side.• Support DLP/DSPM upgrades, patching, and agent version management as per change windows.• Coordinate with Forcepoint OEM support for escalated cases, product issues, and advisories.• Assist in remediation of application vulnerabilities on DLP/DSPM components in coordination with OEM.• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports, SLA dashboards, and management-level KPI reports.• Issue critical incident notifications and security advisories to the customer as per agreed protocols.• Support yearly DLP Health Check Assessment and implement recommended actions.Required Skills• Hands-on experience with Forcepoint DLP (Network, Endpoint, Email/Web channels) – mandatory.• Working knowledge of Forcepoint DSPM or equivalent data security posture tools.• Understanding of data classification, content rules, fingerprinting, and DLP policy lifecycle.• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and endpoint OS (Windows/macOS).• Basics of networking – TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, SMTP, SSL inspection.• Awareness of data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, DPDP).• Exposure to ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Jira / Remedy) and SIEM platforms is preferred.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.• Forcepoint DLP certification (FCSE / FCA – DLP) preferred.• CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.Soft Skills• Strong incident documentation and customer communication.• Ability to work in shifts within an SLA-driven environment.• Ownership, attention to detail, and structured escalation discipline.
