Job Description

Title: Wind Construction Assistant Project Manager Employment type: Permanent Location: Rizal/Northern Samar, Philippines To be involved in all phases of project implementation and construction, from preconstruction design and planning through construction, commissioning and hand over to the O&M team. In particular, the successful candidate will discharge the following responsibilities:  Provide onsite assistance and support to the Project Manager in charge, in completing the project on time and within budget;  Ensure that deadlines are kept, and issues encountered along the way are addressed in a timely and constructive manner and efficiently closed out;  Support on key areas of your technical competence;  Contribute to the decision-making, supporting decisions in the best interest of the project;  Assist in the coordination and were required, direct project teams including Client’s Engineers, Owner’s Engineer, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers etc., ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery of the project;  Ensure Health, safety and Environmental considerations are integral to the delivery of the project;  Assist in the coordination all the internal and external relations necessary to assure the development and delivery of the project is aligned;  Interface with Technical Services, Business Development and Land Acquisition departments to optimize project design, including site selection, constructability review and interconnections;  Attend regular site visits and providing feedback and reporting regarding site progress against program and constructability criteria;  Attend meetings with all project Stakeholders;  Liaison with 3rd parties and assist in the coordination and communication thereof. Work with Owner’s Engineer to ensure we obtain a timely review of all the contractor’s submittals;  Timely identification and notification of any slippage from critical path activities;  Proactively identify potential project risks and developing effective mitigation measures;  Assist and support the Project Manager with tracking change orders and expenses against the construction contracts;  Ensure Project records are periodically updated and maintained to keep progress with development at site; and  Perform any other related duties that may be required from time to time in relation to the project to ensure complete compliance.
