Job Description

Operate imaging equipment and technologies. Interpret wide range of medical imagery, and use test results to determine appropriate care. Communicate findings to patients and referring physicians, and provide additional consultation as needed. Amritsar 1 - 5 Yrs As per Industry Standards - Interpret and report on a range of imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and interventional procedures. - Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (if applicable). - Collaborate with referring clinicians to ensure appropriate imaging and patient management. - Participate in and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case discussions. - Ensure timely reporting of urgent and routine imaging findings. Bangalore Urban 5 - 10 Yrs As per Industry Standards - Financial Management: Ensure the radiology department stays within budget and monitors daily/monthly expenses and inventory levels. - Customer Care: Oversee comprehensive patient care, ensuring timely availability of reports and adequate staffing. - Quality Assurance: Enforce adherence to quality standards, departmental policies, safety protocols, and NABH compliance. - Radiation Safety: Ensure that radiation safety norms are strictly followed. - Equipment & Supplies Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. - Statutory Compliance: Ensure the department meets all statutory requirements and maintains records. - Assist Radiologists: Support radiologists in procedures as needed. - Staff Management: Provide orientation, ongoing education, and evaluate the performance of radiology staff. - Leave & Work Scheduling: Approve staff leave, manage vacation schedules, and plan work assignments. - Staff Engagement: Ensure staff participation in REDS activities and support personal and professional development. Hyderabad 0 - 4 Yrs As per Industry Standards - Responsible for smooth & efficient functioning of the Department of Radiology. - Evaluating patients medical histories. - Analyze medical images to diagnose, interpret test results, and communicate findings to other healthcare professionals. - Develops and monitors procedures to ensure adequate quality control of images. - Collaborate with referring physicians, consult on treatment plans, and provide expertise in choosing the most suitable imaging techniques/tests. - Provide counselling to radiologic patients to explain the processes, risks, benefits. - Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses. - Undertake managerial responsibilities, such as planning the workload and staffing of the department, supervise and monitor incharges and other junior medical staff. - Minimum Qualifications MBBS, MD / DNB in Radiology.
