The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply to process units, optimizing plant performance, driving cost efficiency, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end operations and maintenance of the power plant - Ensure achievement of KPIs including plant load factor, efficiency, and cost per kWh - Drive reliability, availability, and energy optimization initiatives - Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions - Ensure compliance with HSE, IMS, and regulatory standards - Promote a strong safety culture, especially in boiler operations - Lead and develop large cross-functional teams Requirements: - B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) Certification (mandatory) - 15+ years of experience in power plant operations/maintenance - Hands-on experience with AFBC/WHRB boilers preferred - Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
