Supplier Quality Assurance - Manager Location: Indore (M.P.) Department: Supply Chain / Quality Assurance Role Overview: The Supplier Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards for all vendors and suppliers involved in the procurement and delivery of materials and components for Solar PV power plant projects. This role ensures that suppliers meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements throughout the end-to-end supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and enforce quality standards for suppliers of PV modules, inverters, structures, cables, electrical instruments and other balance-of-system components. - Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and qualification processes. - Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions for non-conformances. - Develop and maintain Supplier Quality Plans aligned with project specifications and standards (IEC, ISO, MNRE guidelines). - Define inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials and components. - Ensure compliance with EPC contractual obligations and client requirements. - Drive root cause analysis and preventive actions for recurring issues. - Maintain records of supplier audits, inspection reports, and quality certifications. - Prepare periodic quality performance reports for management and clients. - Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Project Execution teams to align quality objectives. - Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical and quality-related issues promptly. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance, preferably in Solar EPC or Renewable Energy sector. - Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, IEC standards for PV components). - Experience in vendor audits, quality systems, and supply chain management. - Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage. Key Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and negotiation abilities. - Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously. - Proficiency in quality tools and frameworks (FMEA, RCFA, PPAP, etc.).
