About the role The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for the look, feel, and hygiene of every guest area at the property — rooms, public spaces, back-of-house, and outdoor zones. You'll lead a small housekeeping team and act as the quality bar between a cleaned room and a guest-ready room. Key responsibilities - Supervise daily cleaning, turn-downs, and departure cleans across all rooms. - Conduct room inspections before handover to front office; maintain the snag list. - Manage linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies — par stock, issues, and laundry coordination. - Roster and supervise housekeeping attendants and public-area cleaners. - Train the team on our cleaning SOPs, hygiene standards, and guest-contact etiquette. - Coordinate with maintenance on out-of-order rooms, breakages, and deep-clean schedules. - Handle lost-and-found per policy and maintain the register. - Own preventive pest control, water-tank cleaning, and periodic deep-clean calendars. What we're looking for - 2–5 years in hotel housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. - Strong eye for detail; able to spot a crooked lampshade from across a room. - Working knowledge of hotel linen, amenity, and chemical inventory. - Able to lead a small team and handle attendance, leave, and discipline issues. - Willing to live at or near the property (mostly hill-station or small-town postings). - Hotel management diploma preferred; strong operators without formal qualification considered.
