Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager. The primary responsibility of this role will be to efficiently manage and handle criminal complaints/ police complaints, both in filing and defending, while also serving as a liaison with various government agencies and assisting sales team in liasoning with police and other law enforcement agencies. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal processes, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and liaison with police authorities and law enforcement agencies. Responsibilities: Criminal Complaint Handling: - Handling fraud related complaints from law enforcement agencies - Receive, review, and assess incoming criminal/police complaints from various sources, such as law enforcement agencies, victims, and witnesses. - Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence, analyze facts, and assess the viability of criminal complaints. - Prepare and file criminal complaints, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements. - Collaborate with legal teams and prosecutors to build strong cases and support effective prosecution efforts. - Maintain up-to-date records of all criminal complaints, case progress, and relevant documentation. - Liasoning with authorities to register FIR as and when required - Represent the organization in court proceedings (if need be) for prosecuting the complaints filed by the Company. Court appearances: - Represent the organization in court proceedings (if need be) to defend against criminal complaints/ police complaints. - Conduct legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies and arguments. - Prepare legal documents, such as complaints, pleadings and briefs, to support the defense. - Represent the organization in court for purpose of presenting evidence on its behalf in place related matters. Liaison with Government Agencies: - Serve as a primary point of contact for government agencies, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and other relevant departments. - Facilitate communication and coordination between the organization and government agencies regarding criminal / police complaints, investigations, and legal proceedings. - Collaborate with sales team and government agencies to exchange information, provide requested documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the first line (sales and sales governance teams) and government agency representatives. - Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions related to criminal complaints, law enforcement practices, and legal updates. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Law. - Experience in handling Criminal Complaints/ Police Complaints/ Liasoning with police and other law enforcement authorities. - Experience of Liasioning with police authorities to get FIR registered will be preferred - Proven experience in criminal law, criminal complaint handling, and defense. - In-depth knowledge of legal procedures, criminal codes, and regulations. - Strong analytical and investigative skills to evaluate evidence and assess the viability of criminal complaints. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing legal documents, presenting arguments, and interacting with diverse stakeholders. - Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with government agencies and internal teams. - Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case records and documentation. - Proficient in legal research and familiar with legal databases and resources. - Familiarity with government agencies and their roles in criminal investigations and proceedings.
