Job Description

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund. This position will play a key supporting role in the execution of project in India for GFTN. The role supports the Capacity Building & Talent Development Pillar, and will be responsible for sourcing, screening and connecting Certificate of Finance and Insurance (CFI) Students in internships / jobs in the FinTech & Insure Tech Industry. Key Responsibilities: - Engage potential employer from GFTN Partner company. Thereafter, consolidate and provide CFI course information and student CV to Partner. - Track the entire process from Job offerings, to Interviews, to placements results. - Build and maintain a placement report. - Source and screen candidates through various channels (job portals, social media, referrals) - Build relationships with clients and understand their staffing needs. - Match candidates with job openings and facilitate interviews. - Coordinate with clients and candidates to ensure smooth placement. - Maintain database of candidates and job openings. - Meet placement targets and contribute to business growth. - Support the organizing and execution of the annual CFI courses. - Organise Job Fairs Candidate Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce or related field. Work Experience: - Min. 2 years’ experience in Human Resource, Manpower Services and Placement experience including but not limited to Campus Hiring teams, College placement offices etc. Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: - Prior experience in Manpower Services, HR Consultancy and Job Placement - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Highly self-motivated with problem-solving skills - Fluent in English Tech Experience: - Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint - Project management Tools
