Job Description

Company Description Unmukt Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, officially established in October 2017. It began with a simple belief — that no child should be limited by the circumstances they are born into. Through our PEACE model (Physical, Emotional, Academic, Creative, and Environmental development), we create safe and joyful learning spaces where children can learn freely, express fearlessly, and grow joyfully .  We work with children from underserved communities through in-school, after-school, and community-based programs using art, sports, reading, and environmental action as tools of transformation. At Unmukt, we don’t just teach. We listen. We nurture. We walk with every child as they discover their strength, voice, and dreams. If you believe education can be an act of love and transformation — you’ll belong here. Role Description This role is at the heart of Unmukt’s work — bringing together our programs, people, and purpose. You’ll help ensure that every child, facilitator, and learning space reflects Unmukt’s spirit of joy, care, and excellence. You will also lead the launch of Unmukt’s first Freedom Fellowship in Odisha — a one-of-a-kind program that trains young educators to transform classrooms and communities. From designing and planning to selecting and mentoring fellows, you’ll help build this initiative from the ground up. The work will be challenging and exciting. It needs someone who can connect deeply with children, guide a young team, and handle everyday operations with love and clarity. You’ll coordinate between schools, partners, and the Unmukt team to make sure every program runs smoothly and every child gets a fair start and quality education.  We are looking for someone who can commit to growing with us for at least two years , as this journey requires both patience and passion to create lasting change.  Qualifications Strong Program Management skills, including the ability to organize, implement, and monitor project activities Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build and maintain relationships with children, families, and community stakeholders Proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills for data collection, reporting, and assessing program outcomes Commitment to promoting holistic education and sustainable, eco-friendly practices Passion for working with children and local communities Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, community development, or a related field Prior experience in non-profit program management is an added advantage
