Job Title: Interior Designer (2 –5 Years Experience) Location: Mumbai (Western Suburbs) Company: SDC Employment Type: Full-time, On-siteAbout the Role: SDC is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designers with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our Mumbai-based design studio. The role involves working closely with the design team on concept development, design detailing, and project execution across various interior design projects. Candidates with exposure to retail design will be preferred.Key Responsibilities:Develop design concepts, spatial layouts, and schematic sketches based on project requirementsConvert conceptual sketches into detailed drawings and presentation-ready design documentationPrepare material boards, finishes palettes, and mood boards aligned with the design intentProduce detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, suitable for executionCoordinate and follow up with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and timely executionAssist in material selection, specifications, and approvalsEnsure designs comply with client requirements, project briefs, and timelinesSupport the team during site visits, coordination meetings, and execution stages as requiredRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field2–5 years of relevant professional experience in interior designProficiency in design development, technical drawings, and detailingStrong visualization and sketching skillsExperience in preparing material mood boards and design presentationsGood coordination and communication skills for working with consultants, contractors, and vendorsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlinesWorking knowledge of industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.) is preferredPreferred Experience:Prior experience in retail interior design projectsExposure to end-to-end project executionAdditional Information:This is an on-site role based in Western MumbaiCandidates should carefully consider daily commute and travel feasibility before applying
