Job Description

Role PurposeTo independently establish and manage the Human Resources function, with a primary focus on statutory compliance, policy implementation, and performance management systems, while supporting the organization’s growth and operational needs.Key Responsibilities1. HR Setup & OwnershipTake end-to-end ownership of the HR function as an individual contributorEstablish foundational HR processes, policies, and documentationAct as the single point of contact for all HR-related matters2. Statutory Compliance & GovernanceManage ESI, PF registrations, filings, and compliance through respective portalsEnsure adherence to applicable labour laws and support implementation of the New Labour CodesMaintain statutory records and ensure audit readiness at all times3. POSH Compliance & Workplace PoliciesEnsure compliance with the POSH Act and support Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) processesDevelop and enforce workplace policies including:Social Media GuidelinesInformation Security & Data Protection Policies4. Performance ManagementDefine and implement KRA and KPI frameworks across rolesSupport and drive performance review cyclesTrack and evaluate employee performance and provide structured insights to management5. HR OperationsManage onboarding, employee lifecycle, and documentationSupport employee engagement and retention initiativesCoordinate with management on workforce planning and HR requirementsCandidate ProfileQualifications & ExperienceMBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalentMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR operations and compliancePrior hands-on experience with statutory compliance (ESI, PF) is essentialFunctional CompetenciesStrong working knowledge of:ESI & PF portals and compliance processesPOSH regulationsLabour laws and emerging compliance frameworksUnderstanding of KRA/KPI setting and performance trackingAbility to draft and implement HR policiesBehavioral CompetenciesSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyHigh ownership and accountabilityStrong attention to detail and process orientationEffective communication and coordination skillsCompensationSalary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per monthImportant NoteThis is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited for candidates who are keen to take ownership and build the HR function from the ground up in a growing organisation.
