Job Title: PCB Design EngineerJob Type: Freelance / Contract (Full-time or Part-time)Location: 100% Remote (Preferred: India or Eastern Europe)Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled PCB-focused Hardware Engineer to support electronic product development on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Altium Designer, schematic capture, PCB layout, and component library management, along with solid circuit design fundamentals. This role is fully remote with flexible hours.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain schematics using Altium DesignerDevelop multilayer PCB layouts (placement, routing, stack-up definition)Create and manage component libraries and custom footprintsPerform analog and digital circuit design, including component selection and validationEnsure designs meet DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability/Assembly) requirementsGenerate and review fabrication and assembly outputs (Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place, BoM)Collaborate remotely with engineering and product teamsConduct design reviews and implement feedbackTroubleshoot and iterate on hardware designs as neededRequired QualificationsProven experience with Altium Designer (schematics, PCB layout, libraries/footprints)Strong knowledge of PCB design best practices (signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC basics)Solid background in analog and digital circuit designExperience preparing manufacturing-ready documentationAbility to work independently in a remote setupStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsClear communication in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with high-speed or mixed-signal PCB designFamiliarity with impedance control, stack-up planning, and design constraintsExperience working directly with PCB manufacturers and assemblersPrior freelance or remote engineering experienceEngagement DetailsFlexible workload: Full-time or part-timeFully remote collaborationCompensation based on experience, availability, and project scopePreference for candidates located in India or Eastern Europe to align with project budget and time-zone coverageTo Apply:Please share your resume, sample schematics/PCB designs (portfolio), and availability
